Nearly New Year!

Nearly a new year, and Mike’s poor dad has a broken hip. The rain is absolutely bucketing down. So tomorrow evening is puzzle evening. I’ve had some lovely ones for Christmas, so a glass of wine and a dinning table is all I need. I shall also start work on the new book, see if I can give it some legs, and if that doesn’t quite feel right, then I shall have another go at ‘On the Way to Goldmeadow’.

Deep and meaningful thought for the year: knowing something deep inside is either a matter of repetition, (ie the words spoken over you, or those you say about yourself), or they are a gift. And God is the only one who can place that sort of loving gift inside, so that it sticks.

A lane on Sky. Onwards and upwards!

NEW BOOK: OUT 12TH AUGUST
David and Abigail's story as told by her handmaidens.
Radiant
In this compelling account of Abigail and David’s romance, author Kirsty A. Wilmott provides an in-depth look at the life and struggles of her characters. Surrounded by handmaidens, Abigail is both instigator of her destiny as well as victim of her circumstances – a woman who understands what is needed for her and her family to survive – and who fearlessly acts to protect them. Those closest to Abigail tell the heartachingly beautiful story of two lovers struggling under the pressures of a kingdom not yet established and the ensuing political pragmatism that ultimately tears them apart.
