Graduation

Saturday 11th January 2025

On Thursday we were up in Birmingham at our daughters graduation. Some things are really important to mark the end of, some achievements are worth shouting from the rooftop. She passed with a first and is now a fully qualified paramedic. We couldn’t be prouder, but then so were the other families. It made it a really special afternoon.

Getting out of the habit of doing things doesn’t take long. You give yourself permission not to do something and before you know it, weeks have passed. So why is it so much harder to get back into the habit again? Cross trainer, getting out into the fresh air at least once a day, and writing. All of these things would do me the world of good and none of them are difficult! It’s not a new year’s resolution because it is already the 11th January. And I do have a project I can work on wrt writing, which I am excited to see how it develops. So once this is published, I shall start with half an hours work on the lap top. And you can hold me accountable!

NEW BOOK: OUT 12TH AUGUST
David and Abigail's story as told by her handmaidens.
Radiant
In this compelling account of Abigail and David’s romance, author Kirsty A. Wilmott provides an in-depth look at the life and struggles of her characters. Surrounded by handmaidens, Abigail is both instigator of her destiny as well as victim of her circumstances – a woman who understands what is needed for her and her family to survive – and who fearlessly acts to protect them. Those closest to Abigail tell the heartachingly beautiful story of two lovers struggling under the pressures of a kingdom not yet established and the ensuing political pragmatism that ultimately tears them apart.
