We’re on the move again, heading up to the Island of Mull. It is quite beautiful but I’ve just got the notes back, on book 3, from the editor. I don’t think I shall be doing much gazing or thinking or just being! The time line isn’t quite up to scratch and I will definitely need to rewrite the last chapter. Have got to have a good think about how many characters there are, which ones in fact will make the cut!
I had hoped that they would say it was perfect, just as it was, but alas, not this time. Still, a good editor is worth their weight in gold so I shall very carefully read all the notes and hopefully put most of them into action.
The Lizard peninsula is known for its beautiful scenery and
tourist attractions, but all is not so idyllic for Revd Anna
Maybury, vicar of the most southerly parish of mainland
Britain. Much of Anna’s little flock are dealing with their own
problems, and when the wife of a local architect is found
dead in the churchyard, each of them has to come to terms
with the fact that they may be living with a murderer. The
year will take them to the very edge of their insecurities and
relationships and beyond to the conclusion that we are
never truly what we seem...
