Like everyone else, we are looking for ways to cut back on energy usage so I was having a hunt on the internet for a heated airer. Beloved husband looked at sun streaming through the window and said, “Instead of looking for an airer, lets put the washing on the line.”
Not a long term solution as we have a north facing back garden, but definitely the best use of time.
Instead of worrying about not having an agent, just get on with writing the next book. Too easy! And the reality is that I can do both. Instead of worrying about the list of things to be getting on with, sort out the most urgent one. Crib service, definitely. I’ve written it, just need to frame it and make it more interactive. The Story Behind the Story this year.
And finally, I would like to mention Angela Lansbury. So sorry to hear that she has died. Murder She Wrote was a go to safe place when the world got tough. I really did want to be Jessica Fletcher for quite a long time. A writer who was wise and sensible and didn’t she have the biggest family ever! So many nephews and nieces and she wrote books that people loved and wanted to read. Wonderful. The end of an era.
