I’m normally so organised for Christmas. I have this deadline in my head, that if I get cards written, presents wrapped by the beginning of December then I can enjoy all the other fun bits – decorating the tree, Crib Service rehearsals, lighting the advent candle, forgetting the advent candle, then forgetting what day I let it burn down to. Then deciding just to use the advent candle as a candle…

She has worked so hard, and she has never found taking exams easy. We are so very proud.) And then there was getting Devizes COVID19 up and running again, now Love Devizes.

And most of those things I took for granted are people. So I will be writing a Christmas list, but it will be a lot shorter than usual. And I will be carving space out in my diary for meeting up, just as soon as we can.
