Saturday blog on a Saturday, what is going on with the world! So this week the manuscript for the second novel has come back from the publisher. Old school – a pile of paper with pen marks. There is nothing major to sort out, just a bit of tweaking, which I will love doing. The paper back for Watching You Fall will come out for Christmas, then dependent on sales book 2, still unnamed, will appear towards the end of next summer. No promises. As my garden is looking a little raggedy so I suppose is my optimism … realism … reality … wake up and smell the coffee etc.

On the plus side I have finally sorted Instagram. When I say sorted I don’t mean I am now an expert, far from it. I am still prone to panicking when I can’t find or see posts, mind you I am quite prone to panicking about most things. Couldn’t have got close without your endless patience. So though it feels like one step forward, three steps back, it’s not really. But I do need to catch a break. I do need someone well-known to read Watching You Fall and like it, or some sort of review in a popular magazine/paper to re-start the momentum.

So please let me know if there are any bored celebrities in your address book, that owe you a favour, haven’t got much on at the moment and I will do the rest.

The year will take them to the very edge of their insecurities and relationships and beyond to the conclusion that we are never truly what we seem...
