Tis Time, Well Past the Time!

Saturday 8th October 22

From a few weeks ago. You don’t have to go very high to get some spectacular views in the Lake District. This is how Marcy lives! What enfolds enfolds but she appreciates each moment as if it were the first, because for her, it often is.

Not sure where On the Way to Goldmeadow is going. Wondering about the story. Do I let it unfold under my fingers or do I take it by the scruff of the neck and give it a good shake? Marcy is a gentle soul but she doesn’t always listen, sometimes because she gets stuck by the situation and sometimes because she doesn’t understand it. So it’s not a book with a purpose and I’m a tiny bit worried that there is no obvious genre. Also I like happy endings, so I naturally lean that way but life isn’t always like that. The gentle agony of being in charge.

I need to do a revamp of the web site as I am losing numbers, which isn’t easy writing but is necessary. And if you were thinking Christmas and good cheap gifts for people then the books WATCHING YOU FALL and FALLING TIDE are a good price at the moment on Amazon, though I would always encourage you to order them through your local bookshop. Amazon has an algorithm! No idea how it works. I did sell another Watching You Fall and it did make me inordinately happy!

NEW BOOK: OUT 12TH AUGUST
David and Abigail's story as told by her handmaidens.
Radiant
In this compelling account of Abigail and David’s romance, author Kirsty A. Wilmott provides an in-depth look at the life and struggles of her characters. Surrounded by handmaidens, Abigail is both instigator of her destiny as well as victim of her circumstances – a woman who understands what is needed for her and her family to survive – and who fearlessly acts to protect them. Those closest to Abigail tell the heartachingly beautiful story of two lovers struggling under the pressures of a kingdom not yet established and the ensuing political pragmatism that ultimately tears them apart.
