The book launch on Tuesday evening at Devizes Books was brilliant. Loads of people turned up, we sold a good number of MISSING YOU, and a few of Watching You Fall and Falling Tide. For the first time, and it’s only taken three published novels, I feel like a proper writer. There wasn’t a jot of anxiety, so I could concentrate on greeting those who came, most of whom were really pleased, possibly even excited to get their hands on book 3. At least three of them couldn’t resist a quick read before bed, couldn’t put it down and so might have been a bit late sitting down at their desks the next morning. Music to my ears.
The book is of course available from any good bookshop, though you’ll have to order it, ISBN-10 : 1739636732. Amazon is saying it takes a couple of months, that is nonsense. It shouldn’t take anywhere near as long as they say. I’m also hoping to get it into Malmesbury Abbey and Marlborough Mustard Seed too.
