Such a mad week. The children and grandchildren have moved to their new house. We are torn. After 9 long months we are loving a quiet evening in, knowing that the floor will stay empty of toys and paw prints, but actually missing them terribly. Tripped over Thomas the Tank Engine in a dark and empty hallway and felt so sad. Life can be such a contradiction.
But there will be space to get on with some writing. Sadly lacking since the beginning of November. Also my usual exercise regime has gone west and the eating has been, well … So with a deep breath, this is where our year feels like it truly begins.
