It’s good to have something in the diary, makes me feel as if I am getting sorted … the only problem being is that I have a problem saying no, so my diary can get a bit silly! And over the last few weeks, quite a few people may have mentioned it. How busy you are! And not in a good way! When do you get time to write? When do you get head space? When do you take time out with God? And what about the daily walk you promised yourself?
I loved how light and free we felt in Canada and I know it was a holiday, so I’m not expecting to feel like that all the time, but I also don’t want to feel so burdened and frantic as I did before we left. There has to be a compromise. A start: I am clearing some regular space in the diary, as best I can. Trying to be as pro-active about making sure I have time for a walk, time to pray and time to write. It’s not selfish, it’s sensible. I’m 64 and only just now working out what I need to live my best life. Better late than never.
If you have enjoyed Radiant, and the feedback does seem to be good, please pass on the details to your friends, post on social media etc Christmas is coming and it would just about fit in most people’s stockings! Also, please let me know what you think. Authors write in isolation, and though we shouldn’t be swayed by feedback, it sure does help!
