Staring in Dorset

Saturday 7th October 23

It’s been a crazy month or two. Haven’t managed to catch my breath even for a moment – so many things happening at once. I was looking forward to a week in Dorset, only there is this sore tooth thing going on. It’s that first day of the holiday thing, when you begin to relax and everything starts hurting. All I want to do is sit on the sofa and blob.

Obviously the book launch is-a-coming, which is nerve wracking. I wish wish wish I hadn’t said I’d do it, but I’m sure it will be fun on the actual night, (17th Oct).

But please do not feel even slightly sorry for me, because this is the view from the lounge! I just need a little time to stare, and pray etc

NEW BOOK: OUT 12TH AUGUST
David and Abigail's story as told by her handmaidens.
Radiant
In this compelling account of Abigail and David’s romance, author Kirsty A. Wilmott provides an in-depth look at the life and struggles of her characters. Surrounded by handmaidens, Abigail is both instigator of her destiny as well as victim of her circumstances – a woman who understands what is needed for her and her family to survive – and who fearlessly acts to protect them. Those closest to Abigail tell the heartachingly beautiful story of two lovers struggling under the pressures of a kingdom not yet established and the ensuing political pragmatism that ultimately tears them apart.
